长话短说，大三开始渐渐发现所谓的读书无用论其实只是自我安慰的一种说法而已，单纯看读书这一件事或许我们可以耸耸肩说：“读书有什么用啊，有本事还不是照样过日子。” 是的，的确是这样，但如果没有这个跳板，再有本事，能秀给谁看呢？莫非真要举个“The BEST Employee”的牌子满街跑寻找“BEST Employer”？能否如愿达成这个objective先不说，很显然能有勇气这么做的人都没几个，不然也不会有清华、北大硕士卖猪肉这一说了，当然小洋并不是贬低这种做法，事实上通过卖猪肉还真有不少毕业生成了百万富翁过上了小康生活，可惜又有几人能得到幸运女神如此的垂青呢？

Another week has passed and I’m continuing studying “Study Skills” to improve my Basic English. This week I was learning UNIT 3: Tele-working and distance learning, I can get the main idea mostly and I did note-taking effectively according to the recent study; that is what I was told last week. I have really learnt many useful skills on this course such as some macro strategies, how to identify the special markers and the highlight: note-taking.
Well, even though I can understand the listening better than before there still some problems with other skills. This is a strange phenomenon, my hearing really improved but there was no significant change in my speaking or writing, what should I do to improve? Maybe I require a larger vocabulary or should do more exercises where I can write answers rather than choose between Right and Wrong. Besides I had considered watching some classic movies, some of my friends told me that it’s quite useful, the only problem is that really takes time.
