This is the first week in which we will have to Study the Skills course. Prior to this class, I thought that leaning English was a very complicated task and was unsure how to progress, even though I’ve been studying for around eight years! However, through this course, specifically this week I have come to understand that learning English is not only about Grammar, Vocabulary and Pronunciation but it also requires us to acquire other essential skills. In fact, some of my friends have always attainted a very high score for their exams, but they fail to communicate with others effectively because they can’t quite understand the meaning of others if they speak too quickly or use some colloquialisms, Sometimes we can express our thoughts through writing and can also retain information through reading, but in terms of communication it’s not always as expressive as spoken word.
